“When we started the process of picking a contractor, I have to admit, I was quite nervous. I am an avid watcher of HGTV's Mike Holmes' shows, Holmes on Homes and Holmes Inspection. I've seen over and over on the show people selecting what they thought was an excellent contractor, only to get screwed in the end out of money and a livable space.
