“We hired Distinctive Kitchens and Baths (DKB) to design and install a new shower for our ensuite in our new home. The builder had originally installed a small, basic corner shower and we were looking for other options. DKB visited our home, took measurements, offered us options and prepared a written quote the listed all the tasks and materials required to complete the job. The job required the removal of the old shower and the bulkhead that was above it, moving the plumbing in the floor and wall to accommodate the new shower, installing a knee wall, cement board, shower base, tiling, plumbing fixtures, and new customize shower surround. The project also required that the ceiling be repaired as a result of removing the angled bulkhead. DKB sent in all the different trades to handle each job. All the trades laid down floor covers to protect our homes and all were professional, courteous and very friendly. Every day DKB dropped by our home to ensure that everything was going well and to answer any questions that we may have. The project was delivered on time and on budget.”

“Colin and Craig renovated our previous home's kitchen and bathrooms. We were very happy with their work. When we moved a few years later, we contracted them again. They have renovated our three bathrooms and our laundry room. We will be contracting them again when it comes time to do the kitchen in the new house. Colin does the planning work, he's creative, thoughtful, and patient. He listens to us, understands what we want and does his best to create a design that meets our needs within the parameters of what is practical. Craig and his crew (Josh, Fred and Kevin) all do excellent work. They are careful, contentious and tidy. Every job has it's hiccups, but Craig does his best to explain what our options are and offers practical solutions. His years of experience really show through. I cannot recommend these guys more highly.”

“Excellent customer service. The project manager/designer helped me along every step of the process including picking out all the right colors so every thing flows together. All of the contractors were nice, courteous and answered all of my questions. It was great to know that I would not have to go looking for all the individual contractors (tile, plumbing, cabinets, etc) and that they were all provided by Kre-Art Kitchens and Bathrooms.”

The kitchen became a beautiful and bright open concept with a butchers block cutting board on the island.
