“We can’t say enough about the amazing way Alison renovated our 1960’s house from an outdated design that did not meet our needs to a beautifully functional design that we now love! We renovated our kitchen and two bathrooms, which can be a daunting task when the situation seems hopeless and you don’t know where to start. Alison brought a holistic approach to the design, creating a functional space that was consistent with the period of the house. She made sure the design worked well with the adjacent space, and helped us with every detail along the way including selection of tile, plumbing fixtures, flooring, appliances, etc… Our kitchen and our master bath were both extremely space challenged and very dated. Somehow Alison found space where there wasn't any before. Our master bath was a postage stamp sized cubicle with a closet style shower and 1960s green tile. Alison had the vision to expand that space into an adjacent closet while maximizing our other closet space in the master bedroom. She designed a beautiful walk-in shower with waterfall tiling and a new expanded vanity, which allows my wife and I to use the bathroom at the same time. We now have an expansive walk-in closet in our master bedroom without sacrificing significant space in the master bedroom. Our kitchen may have been even more of a challenge than our bathroom and the changes that Alison made completely transformed the functionality and beauty of the kitchen. We started with a 1960's galley kitchen with original cabinets, very limited storage space, an undersized oven, and laminated countertops that were space constrained with our microwave and other appliances. Cooking together in our old kitchen was an impossible task as we were constantly bumping into each other. Alison's vision for our kitchen included bumping out the kitchen wall adjacent to our dining room and using the space where the wall had been for new gas cooktop, serving area and additional cabinets. The dining room side of the expansion now includes beautiful glass cabinets that display our formal china. Alison totally reorganized the flow of the kitchen to allow several people to work in the kitchen comfortably. She expanded the entrance from our living room into the kitchen giving it a much more open feel. We now have over twice the amount of cabinet space we previously had and numerous features that make the kitchen far more functional. We are extremely grateful to Alison for make our home so much warmer and more beautiful.”

“Tobias handled the renovation of my kitchen from "soup to nuts". It was a wonderful experience. My kitchen is both beautiful and functional. Lisa was professional, knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. She also helped tie in the mudroom with the kitchen by recommending cabinets for that area.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Coffee talk Kitchens! Jen sat with us a few times before making any edits to our drawings from our architect! She is really focused on how your family functions in the kitchen day to day! She changed our drawings and made my kitchen spectacular and was even able to add a mud room where my architect had something else!!! She is fantastic and we hired her company and ordered our cabinets through her! She also recommended other suppliers who we ordered our appliances from, my handles from and light fixtures from..She was on top of everything! If you are renovating a kitchen you should look no further and hire her!”

“I recently had a total kitchen renovation and purchased cabinets from Direct Depot Kitchens. I worked with Bill Hancock. He was thoughtful and took so much time to be sure every detail was just perfect. He really cared about the project from the time we first met and all the way through installation. He even came to my home when I started to second guess some of my ideas. He provided resolutions right on the spot. I would highly recommend both Direct Depot Kitchens and Bill Hancock to provide you with your dream kitchen.”

“My interactions with First Impression Designs have occurred over many different experiences: construction and redesigning of kitchen and bathrooms. The level of knowledge and understanding that was exhibited with reference to my new construction project was invaluable to seeing my home through to completion. First Impression had a knowledge of construction beyond just a design level. The structural understanding of my new home (load bearing walls, plumbing requirements, etc.) were invaluable. First Impression was sensitive and flexible with options to stay within budget and meet deadlines. Working with First Impression gave me "peace of mind" knowing that other sub-contractors were communicated and coordinated with. The whole experience was made less stressful and the end result was amazing! Looking forward to working with her on our next project.”

“It was our pleasure to work with Antoinette on the remodel of the kitchen in our 1905 home. She considered every detail from the functionality, to the visual beauty while keeping it modern yet authentic to the age of the home. Most importantly, it was all done at a great price. The kitchen never fails to impress people when they visit our home, all thanks to Antoinette.”

“I have had WVCS remodel my kitchen from a cookie cutter 1990's builder's kitchen to a beautiful custom designed one. The suggestions and design ideas were so helpful, which helped make my decisions much easier. It can certainly be overwhelming, but with their help the project was fun. Craftsmanship was top notch and professional. And timely!!!! I was so pleased with this company that I have since had them remodel 3 baths, my laundry room and library. Highly recommend WVCS.”
