“Emery Design & Woodwork (Ryan and his team) did an outstanding job on our stairway remodel!!! We went from drab white spindles & boring carpet to fab rod iron spindles and solid hardwood stairs. :) They were very polite, timely, courteous, conscientious, and paid great attention to detail. They finished the project in the time they promised (major bonus!). If we had questions they took the time to make sure we were satisfied. Ryan was always available to answer our questions and hear our suggestions (and, believe me, we are very particular with our home!). Last minute changes weren't an issue for this team - they really wanted to make the customer happy (and they definitely did!). :) Bottom line - they were fabulous to work with and our stairway is now transformed into a lovely showcase!!! :) Thanks again, Ryan and team, you guys are true professionals!!! :)”

“I hired Kaja Gam to decorate a living room of an old Tudor house. Then part of my ceiling in another room caved in. They found the leak, tore out the ceiling, found an excellent roofer to fix the roof and chimney (which was also leaking), added pot lights to the ceiling, re-insulated, finished the ceiling. The we could finally concentrate on the decorating. They looked through the entire house, asking us what we liked and what we didn't. They gave us recommendations for almost every room of the house. We worked together to choose decor for the front room (including, painting, adding crown molding, adding a custom chandelier, custom drapes, custom throw pillows, custom rug, and shopping for furniture). They helped us replace several windows and the front door (all of which were custom jobs, since the house is from the 20s). Side note - we had tried to have the windows replaced a year earlier and every company we contacted said it couldn't be done because they didn't do custom sizes. Kaja and co. found a cabinet maker to help us add more storage to the kitchen. The cabinets are custom, but match the existing cabinets perfectly. They changed the lighting in the kitchen, and added a backsplash. Bottom line is they can do anything, and the quality is impeccable. They always go for high end items, so if you have a lot of money to spend, you are in luck. There were several times we had to say that their choices were just too expensive, but alternatives were found (sometimes by us, sometimes by them). If we had an unlimited budget, I'd have them re-do just about everything in the house. In the end, I wish they had spent a little more time on the finishing touches (placing accessories, etc), but overall an excellent company that I definitely hope to use again.”

“Lindsey focused on meeting all of our requirements and designed a beautiful kitchen for us. She was especially helpful in selection of details (hardware, tile, etc.), which we couldn't have done alone! She worked every detail into the estimate and we did not exceed our original budget. The process was smooth from the beginning and we LOVE the end result. I would use her services again in a minute as she is very talented, reliable, and pleasant to work with.”

“We recently moved to Michigan from out of state, so we had no idea where to go for a kitchen remodel. We relied on referrals, recommendations and research done on the internet. We received four quotes, all about the same price, but all were lacking “something”. I came across the Kitchen Shop a couple of times during my research, but felt they would be too high priced. Since we were not totally satisfied with the quotes we received, I decided to stop in and see what they could offer. I was very much surprised and pleased. First, you get Pam Fredericks, a trained interior design professional, to measure, design, and offer recommendations and suggestions on the latest styles and trends. She was a pleasure to work with. During our first meeting, she stated that she could be as competitive as the “big box” stores—and she was. Once the design was agreed to, she provided quotes and computer renderings of the project. The construction phase was done by craftsmen, each working their trade to provide us, the customer, with what would work best. The workmanship, cabinets and quartz counters were of the highest quality. Obviously, we are very pleased with the outcome. We strongly recommend Pam. With the other vendors, we received quotes and installation. With the Kitchen Shop, Pam brought a whole new level of creativity, ideas, products and options. “We hired Xstyles Bath+More to design a master bath to go with our Master bedroom remodel. The results were absolutely amazing. The style is innovative, organic and spa like yet practical and easy to live with. A full year out and my wife and I still get goose bumps whenever we walk in. The space is welcoming and relaxing, and serves as a retreat in our home. The project came in under budget and on time. We had craftsmen with whom we had worked before and Tanya and Jeff worked with us when we wanted to use them in this job. At the same time, the craftsmen that Xstyles used were excellent and clearly at the top of their trade. The custom cabinets were perfect. They fit the space as no ready-made could and we had a wide range of finishes to chose from. I recommend them enthusiastically and would not hesitate to use them again.”

“Cole Wagner is a consummate professional. He will not accept anything less than perfection when it comes to your project. I'm an interior designer and I use Cole Wagner Cabinetry exclusively for my projects. Additionally, I'm a client. Cole built the cabinets for my new kitchen. It was hard to match the finish to the existing Mission furniture in our family room. It took 4 tries, but Cole would not accept anything less than a perfect match. Once the finish was an exact match, then and only then, were the cabinets completed. Cole and his team of experts are prompt, professional, and very easy to work with. I am always impressed when I see the beauty and quality of Cole's work. Additionally, Cole Wagner Cabinetry has boxed cabinetry, that is a lovely solution for smaller budgets or for a home you wish to update for a quick sale.
