Classic Kitchens Designs & Renovations Ltd.
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Oshawa
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 19, 2012
“Classic Kitchens did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation. Everyone who came into our home was very courteous and professional. The design done by Chris was outstanding and they were the only company that came into our home and create a design without a fee up front. The project came in on time and budget and we have ended up with an absolutely beautiful kitchen. It is always a little stressful doing a major renovation in your home but our expectations were exceeded from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Classic Kitchens!”

Bath Emporium & Castle Kitchens
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Oshawa
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 9, 2013
“We hired this company for a total kitchen renovation. The design and attention to details were excellent. Product quality was excellent. Installation was excellent. Other people this company recommended to do work they don't do ie demolition tiling etc were high caliber people. We were happy with all aspects of our kitchen renovation. Since then ( 2013) we have asked Bath Emporium to do our Laundry room. Again we are very happy with the design and attention to detail. We have trusted Bath Emporium's proffessional expertise and look forward to the completion of this job which is a few weeks away. Tatiana and Jodi ( these were the two people we had) are very good at design and knowledgable about the products. Other people in the store have been easy to work with when it comes to accessories ie taps, sinks. We have been able to trust Bath Emporium to do what they say they will do and when. We have been able to trust the qualitiy of the product and workmanship of instalation and design.”
Lorena Amarista- Help me Design my Space
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Oshawa
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsAugust 7, 2014
“Lorena Amarista and her team, headed by John and Henry, bring their combined years of experience to each project with professionalism and perfectionism. Lorena spearheads the project by making style and material choices based on extensive collaboration with the clients. John and Henry carry out the hard lifting with precision work, whether it be laying hardwood floor or gutting and renovating a bathroom. Pre-preparation and cleanup is thorough and great effort is made to protect the lived in parts of the house. Lorena and the guys truly work as a team, constantly consulting and clarifying details as the project progresses. Time lines are respected despite the inevitable obstacles that arise in any renovation. Lorena does not decorate spaces: she has the ability to capture the spirit of a space by spending time with clients to understand who they are and what they like and need. She has a knack of redistributing and repurposing prized possessions of the client. The end result is both beautiful and magical. She places the needs of the clients first. Her aim is to stay on, if not under budget. Lorena spends hours hunting bargains. She delights in finding the perfect you-won’t-believe-what-I-just-found item. Her enthusiasm for the task is infectious. She doesn’t hesitate to change direction if the client is not completely satisfied. Lorena is not someone who insists on putting her stamp on the project. In the end it’s always about “what you want”. The more we worked with Lorena, the more we came to trust her decisions. There was always a dialogue between us, and we came to rely on Lorena and the team’s advice. In the end, the quality of any construction/renovation is in the detail. Here is where she and her team excel. The final presentation is a ‘big reveal’ that starts with a glass of champagne. Traveling through the rooms taking in all the meaningful details was an emotional journey. We are very grateful to have been involved with such fun and genuine people. “Finally decided to renovate family/living room. Zeus has a great eye for design. From start of demo to end product. =) Zeus helped in design, from choosing hardwood and paint and lighting. They work well in timeframe. I could not be happier with end product. I would highly recommend them for anyone. I will surely hire them again for future reno's.”

“We were so pleased with our new kitchen we called Frankie when we decided to renovate our master bath. As we were leaving the country for several months we arranged for the project to be completed during that time. Frankie is very creative with an eye for the unusual. Each of her projects are original and unique, not cookie cutter as some designers can be. The work was of the highest quality and completed on time and within budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Frankie and her staff to any one who wants to renovate their bath or kitchen.”
Harwood Kitchens

“I ordered my kitchen cabinets from Harwood kitchens earlier this year and it was a great experience. Leslie Yee was my salesperson and she was wonderful. She knew their products inside out and was very concerned that I get the look that I wanted. She drew up an excellent plan, made a few changes to add things that I wanted and made lots of suggestions when I was undecided. The owner came to my house to check the measurements shortly afterward. Everything went exactly as planned, the cabinets arrived when promised and their installer did a perfect job. I couldn't be happier, not even 1 hiccup and the kitchen is gorgeous.”

“We contracted the reno of our basement 3 piece bathroom with Tobie and her partner Vic in 2017. I researched and interviewed 6 contractors before selecting them My decision was based on price, design, recommendations and the rapport we established with Tobie and Vic. Based on our requirements, Tobie created a design that worked perfectly with touches (e.g. lighting scones, style of floor tiles) that were super and that we would never have considered. Vic's workmanship was excellent and the job came together basically on schedule and budget. The cost overran slightly due to some additional plumbing work that was not foreseen but which I agreed to. They were even able to incorporate a major change order (heated flooring) that we decided part way in. The job was full time and if Vic wasn't there, he gave me advance notice. The work site was tidy and contained and Vic took care to cover the path through the first floor to the basement. The only suggestion I would have had (had I noticed at the time) was that the bathroom work site was not shrouded in plastic film to prevent drywall dust from filtering through the basement. This took some time to clean up. Not a major problem, but one that could easily have been avoided. Otherwise, very happy with the work and value received, and we would certainly recommend them to others (as we already have done)!”
