“Owner Cathie Tritel is very knowledgeable of plant, flower and tree placement in relation to sunrise/sunset orientation of homeowner's yard. Her project drawings are extremely detailed, leaving no room for speculation by the landscape contractor she selects. She also is exceptionally good at balancing design and color of all hardscape elements like Roman stamped concrete, seatwall, raised garden, flower pots, lighting, etc. with shrub, trees and flower placements. Result for us was a well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing yard. She also is good at keeping the landscape contractor on schedule and ensuring all work meets her high quality standards. She even took the time to teach us yard care basics like pruning and proper watering. We are extremely glad we selected Bluestar to do our backyard makeover! Even though it's winter, flowers are blooming now!”

“Where do I start? Weiss Landscaping was nothing short of fantastic. We did a complete remodel inside and outside of our Alta Sierra vacation home. Weiss was the project manager for the all of the outdoor landscape work. They did the demolition. irrigation, lighting, plant selection and installation and handled the overall design of the project. They subcontracted for fencing, concrete and masonry. Chris Horwath was a top notch designer and client liaison. His brother Drew served as the on-site crew manager. What a one-two combination. They always kept us up to speed on schedule and budget issues, and found creative ways to work around problems. Chris was able to design the new yard so that it worked around some tricky existing conditions and really took advantage of the setting and the view. The final product was just spectacular. We couldn't be more thrilled. We would recommend Weiss in a heartbeat!”

“Bright Home Landscapes installed a new paver pool deck for us and they were a joy to work with. They did an excellent job of communicating with us during the process and completed all work when promised. The pool deck they installed is beautiful, a big upgrade from the cracked concrete deck it replaced. Both their customer service and their workmanship were A-1. And they stand behind their work: when a small section of polymeric sand shifted after installation, they returned to fill the resulting gaps immediately. I was impressed with all of their staff, from salesman to workmen and supervisor, but especially enjoyed working with Anastasia. She is incredibly upbeat and competent. I would definitely consider them for future projects.”

Sheri possesses a rare combination of attributes that bolster reassurance and fortify confidence in her abilities. Her observation and communication skills are superb. In addition to integrating our ideas into the conceptual design she worked collaboratively with both engineers to ensure our project would be in compliance with local codes and pass permitting. She has an eye for aesthetic form coupled with strong creative abilities. Also, She is detailed oriented with a pragmatic bent She offers a full suite of services, including CAD. I could go on, but, in summary, You can;t go wrong with Sheri. .”

“My husband and I hired Eve to do a landscape plan for our acre lot in Orangevale, CA. She spent considerable time walking the property with us and listening to our ideas. We also provided her with many pictures from magazines, the internet, etc. Subsequently, she returned to our home with a beautiful design. We were amazed at how well she had combined my husband's and my often somewhat conflicting visions into a cohesive whole that incorporates both of our dreams for the landscaping. We have many separate "rooms" in our design, and each one blends seamlessly into the next. We also wanted a low-maintenance, drought-resistant landscape, and her plant choices reflect that goal. She is extremely knowledgeable about drainage and irrigation, as well. She has made herself available to answer our numerous follow-up questions as we DIY our landscaping. Eve is easy to work with, intuitive, and patient! If you want a highly qualified landscape designer, we strongly recommend Eve.”

Mieke, made some very helpful suggestions and we purchased some nice sized plants and they planted and fertilized them all. I'm happy to say that months later they are thriving. Mieke is very knowledgeable and has a passion for what she does. She is prompt, professional and reasonably priced for her services. She has a wonderful and courteous crew. She has a keen eye for design and with her degree in agriculture, she knows the earth! We also hired Flourish Plantscapes to design the interior space (4000 s/f) of our office building. They planted and currently maintain these plants because they are too expensive for us to chance messing them up!
