“After seeing good landscape architecture work for another resident in my neighborhood, and the very-professional Weber plans submitted to our Town's design review board, I contacted Ms. Weber about my own needs at my historic 1924 house. Besides engineering expertise replacing a driveway and other hardscape issues, I needed a master plan for horticulture enhancements suitable for my limited-maintenance requirement, the very shady growing conditions, our browsing deer and other wildlife issues, and a somewhat complex topography. The plans and costs were reasonable, the supervision and cooperation with the contractor were excellent, and I am pleased with the results. Ms. Weber has good listening skills, incorporating the client criteria appropriately and creatively into her recommendations. Her follow-through and billings are straightforward and professional.”

“We interviewed 4 different design/landscape services. We went with David because we liked his easy going demeanor and he had some great ideas in our first meeting. He was up front about what to expect when working with him on design and cost. He gave us about 4 or 5 options when it came to our front yard design and then we honed in on one of them. We tweaked it here and there and ended up with something we love. We now have a construction drawing that we can work with. We have not started the actual construction yet. We will utilize David's expertise when we start that phase. David is honest, dependable, creative and a pleasure to work with.”

He did an excellent job incorporating all our wishes for raised beds, disguising our hot tub and giving us lovely views from anywhere we sit! Our home was built in 1832 and he was able to make our garden look like it had been part of our home for years! We would highly recommend him for any outdoor project you have.”

“We consulted with Black Willow Design to get their thoughts and recommendations on dealing with drainage issues in our yard. It was important to us to address the issues in an ecologically sustainable way while being esthetically pleasing to us and our neighbors and attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. We found the professionals at Black Willow to be extremely knowledgable and very willing to listen to our needs and ideas and to incorporate them when possible into the design they presented us. The overall costs of the project was well within our budget and when completed fell below the final estimate quoted to us and within the stated time frame. In working with the team we found them to be very informative regarding the stages and all the crew members were very personable and worked meticulously. The outcome far exceeded our expectations and we have received nothing but praise and admiration from our neighbors and friends. Two of our friends subsequently have contracted with Black Willow for projects on their properties. The professionals at Black Willow design have continued to follow-up with us, visiting regularly to insure the project was serving it's purpose and to monitor the plant growth”
