We hired Paula to completely design and renovate our small backyard in Roncesvalles. The hand colored drawings are beautiful and the completed project is identical to the plan. Her crew was very respectful of our property, and skillfully completed the tasks. In particular, Colin the carpenter was so detailed and throughout - he left everything in a better state than he found it. All in all, our yard went from something we avoided to a beautiful space that our family will enjoy for years to come.

Paula redesigned my backyard and I loved it. I'd never worked with a designer for either the interior or exterior of my home so was nervous, what if I could get a designer to understand what I wanted. With Paul I didn't have to worry. She asked a ton of questions, listened to my likes and dislikes and at times pushed me to consider things I hadn't and was responsive when I had questions. When I saw her design I was so pleased and we worked together collaboratively on any changes needed. The final product is so great and I enjoy spending time and entertaining in my backyard so much. Friends who knew what was there before are amazed at the transformation. Even now that the work Paula did is complete, she is still available for advice and questions. I would highly recommend her. Paula transformed our scrubby patch of grass into a beautifully landscaped front yard, which many people stop to admire. Her consultation process included a very thorough survey or our likes, dislikes, must haves, design and style preferences etc. and in fact her first design was what we went with, no changes necessary. Paula was on site almost every morning to manage the contractors, check everything was progressing to plan and address any concerns, and she also responded quickly to phone calls and email messages. She was lovely to work with and I would highly recommend her.

We hired Paula to design an outdoor space for our townhouse and are delighted with the results. From design ,coordinating with the trades people and planting Paula looked after everything! Our home was new construction. A total blank slate. It turned out even better than expected. Paula has a great eye and came up with a beautiful design for our back garden after spending time learning about our preferences and looking over the property. The hardscaping in the initial plan was a bit beyond our budget and she worked with us to make adjustments so that we could afford it. For example, we decided to build the unique fence she designed under her guidance. She provided excellent and original choices for the trees and other plants, providing variation in colour throughout the year, as well as different textures and heights. Her bulb plantings gave us wonderful surprises in their first spring as they came up in successive waves of colour. We are so pleased with the end result of her work with us: our garden oasis in the city.

I have known Paula for over 25 years as a client of my esthetics salon. She freely offered gardening advice to help me with my balconies over the years. Four years ago I took the plunge and hired Paula as the professional that she is, to renovate my three 14th floor balconies. She designed beautiful cedar planters planted with herbs, small trees and perennials, added trellises to grow clematis and added inlaid cedar panels to the existing unattractive railing. She managed the project from concept to completion, orchestrating the planning, installation and planting well. I am in heaven! I’m very happy relaxing in my garden in the sky.
