“We hired G Family because we wanted to have a local company competent in both design & build to make our backyard a place for our kids to play, for us to garden, and host friends. What we got was an enjoyable process with phenomenal people who have become like family to create an oasis of play, joy, and peace. Dave transformed many dilapidated terraces into a coveted flat yard space, with a patio for entertainment or yoga and a hot tub/outdoor shower sanctuary. Zach is an absolute dream to work with, plus a plant genius. He worked with us to design the most stunning zones of colorful life that perfectly blend zen and pollinator gardens, fruit trees, open play areas, and vegetable beds with stunning rock walls (in a small footprint)! “These guys are great! Gustavo and Dalmo, the partners of Victory are both honest, hardworking and explain everything very clearly and also listen to your needs and wants. I had a few ideas of what I wanted with the yard, a bocci ball court, a built-in bench, railroad ties for stairs and a large flat area where I could put a table and they ran with those ideas and made it even better. Gustavo had the idea to build the floating bench close to the rock formation to keep the area wind proof and when you sit at the bench now there is a perfect view of Mount Tam. He is also super knowledgeable about local plants and soils and had great recommendations for what to plant and layout as well as lighting. Thanks so much!”
