“We had Theo wallpaper a number of accent walls in our condo, and his work is amazing! Initially, he came over to our home to get a sense of the job ahead of him and to help assess whether we had enough wallpaper for the project. Then in completing the work, he returned on a couple of different days and worked diligently and efficiently to get all of our desired walls covered. In terms of his work product, Theo is incredibly meticulous and thorough. He matches up the wallpaper design seams seamlessly and even uses a laser(!) in order to make sure things line up perfectly, You can tell he really thinks through a project before and as he's completing it, and as a result his finished product for our condo is stunning. His expertise at wallpaper hanging was readily apparent in the way he described the work he was doing and the quick pace at which he finished our project. And his rate for the work was quite reasonable, too. Finally, Theo was a decidedly pleasant professional to deal with. He reached out to me promptly about doing the project, he was easy to get a hold of, and he's just an all-around kind character with whom you'll enjoy chatting. Overall, we are very satisfied with Theo's wallpaper handiwork for our condo.”

“Had part of a wall opened up to replace a pocket door - of course the lime wash I used on the wall many years ago was no longer available and I had already returned one lime wash product. I emailed Color Atelier Paint and Natalie not only got back to me but had me email her pictures of the existing wall that I had to replicate. She was very helpful and patient and answered all my questions. I ordered the color lime wash I needed and an additional color for another project. Color Atelier is on the west coast and I live on Cape Cod. Color Atelier has great customer service and my order arrived pretty quickly. And the wall came out beautiful! You can buy paint anywhere but it’s tough to get great customer service.”

“Katie recently performed a magical transformation of my entire bedroom set, taking it from out-dated to WOW! From our first conversation to the end of the project, Katie was professional and friendly. Prior to our first meeting she asked me lots of questions about what I had and what I wanted. At our first meeting she had a professional portfolio of her work along with some ideas on her computer of what she thought might work for this project. She instantly "got" me and my decorating vibe (if it could even be called that) - colorful, a little quirky, and fun. She was able to translate through my hand-waving and obscure descriptions of what I thought I wanted to come up with a wonderful design and color combination; she listened to me even though I really didn't know how to describe the vision in my head. Two of the pieces went to her studio to be redone. I received step by step pictures along the way so I could see the progress. She even put up with my panicky "OMG do you think it's REALLY going to look good? Do you think we should make changes?" The last two (largest) pieces were fnished in my home with no fuss and no muss. The only way I could tell she had even been there during the day (while I was at work) was to see the progress made. I am beyond delighted with the finished product. This is a 25+ year old Thomasville bedroom set - very good quality. You cannot buy this kind of quality furniture anymore; it looks like a completely new, contemporary set now, while still maintaining the integrity of the style of the pieces. Katie absolutely delivered the vision I had. I wish I had more projects for Katie at my house!”

“I was referred to House Doctor Painting from my Broker/Realtor friend. Kelly McKinley is the principal of HDP. I was given a booked time/date for inspection and cost estimate. Mr. McKinley came to my home on time and as scheduled. Kelly is a kind and courteous professional (licensed) contractor, and has been in business from over 20 years. This is checking all the boxes for me already. After having several painting companies come out and thinking of just going with the lowest bid quickly turned into you get what you pay for... Painting of ones home is NOT something one does very often. It is also much more than just color... Correct painting is a shield from the environments as well as sealing the home from the environment. Correct paint + caulking (type of paint for the structure) and sealing will last a home for 10+ years. Bottom line inside my head was "don't cheap out...," do it once the right way. Kelly and his crew were on time, and quickly prepped my home (power washed as well as scrapped and sealed). The painting was applied, and I could not have been happier with both the colors as well as quality of the paint and final product. My home went from drab to being a show piece. We all hear on the home improvement shows about curb appeal... Kelly and HDP really came through and turned my house into a home!”

“The landscape design of our newly built Atherton home relies on a large number of architecturally-designed solid concrete walls of varying lengths and heights. The walls were designed to have a particular look and finish. Unfortunately, two of the taller walls suffered cold joints and other defects and looked very unsightly. We tried a number of fixes but they didn’t fix the problem. It is at this point that Coral Colours came to the rescue! After fixing the unsightly cold joints and the other defects, they applied several coats of plaster and matched the color and appearance of the other walls. The repaired walls look like new. I highly recommend Coral Colours. They are artisans and on top of that very nice people to work with.”

“Our project was exterior prep and paint of our 3 story, wood siding home. It was not in terrible condition (paint was not peeling), but there were several areas that were showing the start of dry rot. Professional, personal, superb quality work, meticulous detail, pleasant workers, skilled and knowledgable crew that can handle repairs and carpentry needs as they come up during the project . . . Can't express how pleased and impressed we are with them and their work. I categorized our project in the default category of being in the $10,000-$49,999 range however, specifically our end cost including the dry rot repairs totaled just a hair under $11,000.”

“Todd Milnes and his team did a great job on my backyard office. They taped, textured, painted, caulked and laid down the carpeting and it was perfectly done. Todd went the extra mile and was actually so much fun to have around. Being the perfectionist I am, I really appreciated this quality of work because the truth is - it's not that easy to find. The person initially painting it had a family emergency and Todd was working in the area and came right over - working on the weekend and way after 5pm to get the job done. Yes- I would hire him again.”

“Julie at Creative Walls took what were boring and lifeless old beams, as well as an ugly lam beam, each in the living, dining and kitchen areas respectively, and brought them to life through her amazing talent. With very specific design elements in mind, I asked Julie to emulate the grain of my white oak floors, but in a subtly darker shade - and guess what? That's exactly what I got! Julie was prompt, detailed, organized, and very professional -- and she remained within the agreed upon yet very reasonable estimate. I would highly recommend Julie to anyone who's interested in transforming the mundane to the beautiful.”

“We contacted All Purpose Painting for an estimate and upon meeting Chris were very impressed with his professionalism. He took the time to show us the various areas of wood rot that he suggested fixing before he painted...and then recommended someone who could do the work (which took several weeks). Chris was flexible in keeping us on his fall schedule despite some delays; we wanted the painting done before the rains arrived. The painting work was beautifully done, the premises always kept clean and neat, and Chris and his worker clearly took pride in doing a great job. We could not be happier with the results and would recommend All Purpose Painting without any reservation!”
