“I met David Katz when I was interviewing landscape architects for a pool and spa I wanted to build on a property I'd recently acquired in the Hudson Valley. I'm a business person myself and very careful when choosing who I work with. Accordingly, I interviewed 5 different architects before choosing to go with Elite. Everyone I met with was talented, but David Katz was on a different level. Whereas others would walk the property and talk about what they thought, after I'd walked the property with David and we had talked, he started drawing. Within 15 minutes, I had a full rendition of what was clearly right for the property. If there were one theme to my relationship with Elite, it would be this--execution. The other architects talked vaguely of being able to get the pool done in 15 months or so. I told David I wanted to be swimming in thee months. He said I was crazy. I asked him if he could get it done. He said yes. Three months later, on the 4th of July weekend, my family was swimming. That's what's truly special about David and the Elite team--they can get the job done, on time, and on budget. Moreover, while I was forced to manage my house contractors daily, I didn't have to even think about Elite. They transformed our property in exactly the right way, and I didn't have to manage a thing. That has rarely happened to me before, and it was fantastic. Shortly after the completion of the pool and spa, I engaged Elite on another large scale project on the property. Just like the pool and spa, it was also done perfectly and perfectly on time and on budget. Elite (and in particularly, Mitch, David's son) continues to service our property and I suspect we'll build something great again in the future. I can't recommend the Elite team highly enough. If you want to do something great, they are your team.”

“We worked with Nick to construct our gunite pool in October of 2013 and we couldn't be happier with the final product. We spoke to many pool companies in Fairfield county, but in the end it was his keen eye for design and extensive experience in the pool industry that really helped solidify our decision. He had our best interests at heart the entire time we worked with him across every detail, from the exact color of plaster we wanted down to the best and most practical material to use for our patio (that wouldn't be too hot on our young kids' feet.) He's an honest guy who was never trying to sell us the most expensive product…he actually steered us away from the original patio material we thought we wanted (that was much more expensive) and we're so happy he did. We had a perfect summer enjoying our pool and spa. This past month, we even had him back with his crew to install a drainage system in our yard. “I really enjoyed working with the team at Harbor Hot tubs, Ian and Doug Sullian in particular. Very helpful and responsive in the upfront process, did a great job of finding the right product to fit my specific wants/needs (outdoor sauna, sturdy yet portable, high quality but priced right). They did an on site pre- installation survey, and the build/installation went very smoothly at a fair price. But the TRUE measure of a relationship with a Vendor reveals itself when u have a problem. And we did run into some funky issues that were tough to troubleshoot. Rather than sending me to the MFG and hiding behind their warranty, they rolled up their sleeves, provided on site testing and trouble shooting, identified the problem(s) and provided no charge parts and labor to resolve. Doug and Ian stayed personally involved and connected thru the process, and they and their firm have truly earned this sincere endorsement.”
