“Get organized is a company that I highly recommend if you have need to organize and cut clutter from your spaces. I have been aware of Get Organized for several years - and even subscribed to their email list, before I decided to use their services. I tried unsuccessfully to organize my office, guest bedroom, and craft room (all one room) over a period of 3 months, so I decided to call in the professionals. The consultation went well, and covered more areas than I was able to have done. not only did I get several ideas, but she listened to my concerns and specific needs and took into consideration many factors including my personality and family needs. I was unable to procure their services for the amount of time that was suggested, but did set up an appointment for half the time, which makes their job much more difficult, because they were not able to do all that they could possibly do. It is a much different office- it is functioning much more efficiently, and looks much less cluttered. The money was well spent as they not only set about to organize and cull the paper dragons that have demonized my office for years, but also gave me tips and ideas of how to keep it manageable. Some of the ideas were new, but a lot of them were those that I had read about. I was just not able to implement them effectively. They continued to listen - and make suggestions -- most of which I was willing to do. There were some ideas that I was reluctant to follow, but I am trying their system for the time being. Specifically, I am trying to utilize my filing system better so I can retire some of the plastic magazine holders that have become visible files. The first couple of weeks, I had difficulty in locating some of my items, which was frustrating, but they had ideas where things were placed and I was able to find them. This is more than a decluttering episode, but a lifestyle change -- which is difficult transition. It has been a month since they have come, and my office is working pretty well. I am still working through my homework box ( things that I needed to make decisions about) and am continuing to see the benefit of having Get Organized work their magic. I will use them again, for other areas where further organizational skills are needed.”
