“Juliana designed our kitchen in Glen Ellen and it came out beautifully. Right out of the first design we only made a couple of changes and she came back with the second design and it was perfect. She took me shopping and helped me pick out the appliances and tile/granite. We wanted to do it right the first time so we spent money on what counted and Juliana helped us spend less on the items that didn't show as much so we could stay within our budget. Our friends come and all want to know where we found the granite and we tell them Juliana found it for us! I wish we had another house for her to design!”

“In preparation for retirement, we moved to San Diego from Salt Lake City. Leaving a two story, six bedroom suburban home and coming into a three bedroom beach house, we quickly discovered we had too much of the wrong kind of furniture. Wanting to start from scratch, we sold all of it, leaving only the vitally necessary pieces we needed to live. We bought a beach house built in the mid 50’s, which we wanted to update but leave in its original mid-century modern style. We knew what we liked, but had trouble envisioning it in our home. We sought out designers and were referred to Corine. She met with us and we quickly became comfortable with her style ideas and background, but it was her upbeat enthusiasm and energy that sold us on hiring her. Corine specializes in Coastal themes, and was able to give us plans that were unique and innovative yet kept us with a comfortable beach house which, we feel, matches the community in which we live. “Susan designed our home office and our kitchen. In the office we added countertops, cabinets, file cabinets, and keyboard trays. It turned out great! We were able to have 4 workstations and it had everything we needed. When we remodeled out kitchen we ended up changing the majority of the first floor. We added a huge walk in butlers pantry, changed the location of all appliances and sink. We were extremely happy with Susan's designs and she was very helpful in every aspect of the remodel.”

“I can not recommend KBG Design more! The ideas and knowledge that Katelyn has, for even the smallest projects, never ceases to amaze me. When it comes to putting a personal touch to a space, Katelyn is the best! We are redecorating a room to become a nursery and I wanted something glamorous but not too girly. Katelyn always comes up with something unexpected and encouraged me to look into wallpaper for, at least, one of the walls. I've always been hesitant to use wallpaper but, once I saw the choices she had chosen for me, I ended up doing more than one room! That is just one example, of many, where Katelyn has made my space more special than I could have ever imagined on my own. She is a joy to work with!”

“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”
