Professional, prompt & courteous. Southern Energy Management came, they saw & they conquered. They were in & done in just a couple days it was like they were never there and we now have solar. It's a win.

i cant say enough good about SEM. there was a saying years ago im cooking with gas well these days im cooking with sun. my system on its first full month produced 72% of my bill and i stayed a cool 74 degrees on them high ninety days and im talking about June 2018. if your looking to go Solar trust in SEM you wont be disappointed. from start to finish and the constant monitoring of my system they are the best. and the price was the seller for me.

Excellent work! They determined how much solar power would be optimal for our house, and made it all happen with little effort on our part. Information on how to file for tax refunds was included. I highly recommend them.

Southern Energy Management (SEM) was a fabulous company. The team we worked with was professional, friendly, and on-time. They started with a professional review of our home and solar needs. They installed a 21-panel Photovoltaic system that feeds back to the grid. We were pleased with questions answered during the project, as well as support given after the project was completed. SEM was on budget and the project was completed on time.

On February 22nd, 2016 we gave Southern Energy our deposit for our solar system. They promised it in 90 days. By April 6 (45 days later) the system was installed and running smoothly. Salesman, Graham Alexander explained what to expect during the installation. The installers were professional and extremely quick considering the steepness of our roof. We are already saving a considerable amount of money. So far the performance is exceeding the guarantees. It is fun to watch which appliances draw the most energy.

Had a great time working with Southern Energy Management. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to help me get the maximum in rebates from Progress Energy and on my taxes, they worked directly with my HOA to get it approved, and they were prompt with their installation.

Working with the team from Southern Energy Management was great, from the initial assessment of our home's appropriateness for solar panels to the coordination with regulators and government and the entire installation. It was all easy and seamless for me. Our lot is shady, yet the pre-installation projected energy production of our photovoltaic system was extremely accurate. Our system generated 99.4% of the projected kWhrs for the first year, and 102% for the second year. I'm very pleased.

After extensive research and a number of estimates, we contracted with Southern Energy Management to install solar panels on our home in Durham. Not only was their price competitive or better than any of the other installers, but we knew of their work from other projects in our area, and work SEM had done for a builder we had used. We could not have been happier with the work SEM did on our home. At all points, they were prompt, professional, and thorough in the work. Most impressively, the followup contact that we've had with them since the installation was completed has been extensive. Not only have they promptly responded to emails and phone calls, but they have initiated contact to insure that we were completely satisfied with the performance of our system, including the monitoring software that they installed. I can't recommend Southern Energy Management highly enough if you are considering a solar project on your home.

Love SEM. I've been buying solar thermal and PV systems from them since 2002. SEM rocks. Wish all of my suppliers could be as cool at them...

I was interested in solar energy, my husband thought that not only would it be cost prohibitive but that it would not provide enough power to be worthwhile. He finally let me call Southern Energy Management to prove his point. Turns out HE was wrong! They were able to design a system that fit our budget AND provides enough power! They were great to work with, very responsive, explained everything along the way. We are very pleased! And my husband loves the monitoring system so he can keep track of how much power we are generating!
