“Maureen has sewn, installed window treatments though out our home. Every window is different and challenging. Most of the windows are picture windows and some are odd shaped. We described what look we wanted and she took it from there. Nothing was difficult for her. Everything she made for us was done in a timely matter. Maureen is extremely professional and loves her work and it shows in every aspect. She also made pillows of all shapes and sizes for our bedrooms and family room. I highly recommend Maureen. You will definetly not be disappointed.”

Lastly the finished product is a custom treatment that is exactly what you want. Kathy's attention to detail is unbelievable. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. “When we moved into our new home, we didn't have any window treatments and reached out to Barbara for a free home consultation. I had a general idea of what I was looking for. She listened but then really offered value by brining her professional experience and a fantastic view point with suggestions to get us the results were were looking for. We selected beautiful woven wood shades for a set of windows in both our dining and family room area. Once they were installed, we reached back out to Barbara for some help with the full doors going out to the patio. It was a bit tricky, but she recommended we go with the same shade but do a vertical style. I hadn't seen this before so was unsure, but I went with her recommendation. It was installed and wow it's beautiful. We love it. We'll have other projects as we get more settled in and will definitely plan to reach out to work with Shades on Wheels and Barbara again without hesitation.”

“I have hired Barbara for numerous projects in my home over the past 4 years and I have been so extremely happy with her work. I can sew myself and have made some drapes for my home but for the bigger projects I decided to hire Barbara because she is a designer that can fabricate her own designs as well so she has intimate knowledge off what type of fabrics will work best for the designs chosen. Her attention to detail is so precise and her work is beautiful. Specifically she made beautiful cornices for me that were very wide (some 120 inches). They are beautiful and complete the room. She does all of her own installations as well which is quite impressive. She has re-installed the drapes I made which was a huge improvement over what I had initially done. She is literally with you from design, fabrication and through installation. I also hired Barbara for shades. Again, she did a wonderful job of installation on these as well. Barbara is a true professional and I look forward to finding another reason to hire Barbara again.”

“Winter 2012 I hired Window Designs Etc. to create window treatments for my large living room picture window. I selected a Hunter Douglas remote controlled silk shade to filter the sun during the day, and then Marie Mouradian and I worked together to create a unique jabot design in ivory dupioni silk to frame the window. The result is functional and beautiful. The window treatment is lined and well made with every attention to fine detail.
Marie is a lovely professional who provided qualitative, prompt service. Her rates are competitive, but her personalized attention is invaluable. She and her husband professionally installed the shade, the window treatment, and even hung some other drapes for me. They later came back to hang mirrors and pictures. They are personable, professional, genuinely caring people.
My window is beautiful. It is the focal point of the room, and I have received compliments from everyone who has seen it. I am very pleased with my experience with Window Designs, Etc.”
