Talianko Design Group, LLC I'm not sure I understand your question. This room uses dark brown as an accent color. There are many options for accessories and that is a personal choice. I might consider removing the black carpet if it is solid. Sounds like it might be overwhelming the room?
Talianko Design Group, LLC These are woven grass shades from B &W. if you can see the previous questions, the stock number is listed. Thanks for asking!

Talianko Design Group, LLC Unfortunately, I don't have the carpet info. The fabric is Barnaby-18. What sort of project are you needing help with? Where are you located?
Talianko Design Group, LLC Hi, this is a nylon cut pile broadloom carpet. It is actually a bluish green color. People used to call is "sea foam green". Hope that helps!
Jb Thanks for all your help. I am now taking your advise and making
The headboard 55" high. I definitely will write a review as soon as I can get
one of my kids to show me how!!

dream2reality Good question! how do you make those headboards? are they screwed into the wall? I would love to have this style of headboard. what is the name for these types of heardboards?
Talianko Design Group, LLC The table has been in our family. It belonged to my husband's grandmother and functioned as a "TV Tray". It has a beautiful hand painted scene of a sailing ship on high seas.
Talianko Design Group, LLC B&W woven grass shades. I'm sorry, I don't do business with this company any longer and the paperwork is in the archives. If you would like to call me, perhaps I can sell you a comparable brand instead? (626) 836-2935 studio. www.TaliankoDesignGroup.com
lorimflood I love your bedroom. May favorite of all that I have viewed. I have similar bay windows. What hardware did you use for the curtains? what curtains did you use? Do I see a french pleat? C-Rings? Do they open and close easily?
Talianko Design Group, LLC Thank you for your kind words. The hardware is wrought iron in an old black finish. Yes, c-rings but I never close them as it turns out! Top Tack French Pleat on Batiste sheers in an off white. Hope it helps. More views on our website. www.TaliankoDesignGroup.com
Send me a photo when you're finished with your project. Love to see it!

Talianko Design Group, LLC I also have a line of bed linens with the linen stitched edge and flange. They come in many thread counts, depending on your budget. I can ship anywhere! All I would need is your bed's dimensions. Debbie Talianko
Talianko Design Group, LLC I am happy to. The walls and trim are all Swiss Coffee from Ben Moore. OC-45. My master bath is Ben Moore HC-144 Palladian Blue.
Did you have to attach the headboard to the wall? I've been looking at upholstered headboards and they don't seem to be very sturdy attached to a metal frame unless it has a footboard. »
Talianko Design Group, LLC This one was made by my upholsterer. It did not need to be attached to the wall, but rather, screwed in at the base to the ends of the metal bed frame. If they are not too tall, this is the way it is done. Thanks for asking and I'm flattered that you like it!
Talianko Design Group, LLC These chairs were in my family and I had them recovered in a Kravet fabric. I then added the casters to bring the height up to match the height of the ottoman after adding new tapered legs to the ottoman.
Can anyone tell me where I can buy this type of a curtain rod that wraps around a window?I have a similar situation in my living room and am at wits end! Thank you! »
Talianko Design Group, LLC When it comes to "ready made" drapery panels and hardware, be careful to account for the weight of your fabrics. Also, when you purchase ready made "expandable" rods, they will look fatter on one end than the other. This is just the nature of the beast. The rods in my photo were custom made with a wrought iron shop in North Hollywood.
Another consideration is the angle within your bay window. You'll want to measure each window's width but also the depth at the ends of the middle section in order to get the angles right. This will ensure that each rod stands away from each window at the same distance.
hollybondhttp://www.sears.ca/catalog/headboards-footboards/12310/24#navControls I bought the Harmony headboard - it is extremely well-made. When you look at Furniture/Headboards-Footboards on the Sears site (I'm in Canada but I'm sure they have great selection in the USA too), there is one that is called Dominique and it looks somewhat like the one in the picture above. Starting at only $399! Picture attached.Good luck.
STEP THREE: ADD A FEW BEDDING EXTRAS
If you need to dress up your bed a little more, adding one bolster and a throw adds a great look to plain white sheets and a white duvet.
Another simple ensemble of layers. The throw is the darkest part of the room, and not only ties in with the furniture but adds a heftier detail for winter months ahead.
A seating area created in a bay window is ready for relaxation. With a lamp for light in the evenings, a table to set a book or drink on and an ottoman placed in front of one chair, this is a spot to get comfortable in.
Light and bright, this room has a transitional feel due to its woven shades with layered neutral drapes. The use of honest materials is a key component to pulling off transitional styling.
Tip: Use varying tones of neutral, focusing more on texture than color, to create a transitional room.
So many people have done away with landline phones, but those who haven't must wrestle with how to make a contemporary phone work with their decor. It's no doubt a potentially clash-ridden situation, since phone design has more to do with functionality than style. A tiny handset sits on a night table in this bedroom takes up so little visual space that it almost goes undetected.
The bedroom is certainly an important place to have privacy from the outside world. Unfortunately, working draperies can be a budget buster. A bamboo rod works well in conjunction with a set of bamboo shades, lending the privacy of draw drapes without the price. The colors and textures complement each other for a cohesive feel.
