Here is a wide angle view of the office with a large desk providing storage on both sides. The desk is big enough to accomadate all the stuff that us girls bring in with room for the bag, tea and some pretty decor. Functionally the drawers help keep her organized and the light from the windows give her a peak into the greenery from the yard beyond.

Inspired by the large scale art, we pulled hues to create a space reflective of whimsy and fun pops of color. The blush kipling fabric brings in a playful feminine touch. We love the idea of the bold, modern photograph on the far wall. First thing you see when you enter the house, the goal was to slice right through the Craftsman, with crisp modern color. We also love the pairing of primary colors - red with the client’s own blue Saarinen chairs. We also love the slight irreverence in the exposed wires of the gently industrial light.

My client fell in love with the Saarinen tulip table, but our budget and space could not accommodate! We opted for a smaller, inspired table from France and Sons. The light fixture was sourced from a fabricator in India, the chairs were on sale for 49.00 each. The weaving was a gift from my client's parents.

White doesn't have to be boring! In this eclectic, industrial style kitchen, the white wall tiles have a wonderfully unique texture. This makes the room bright and eye-catching, without distracting from the focal pieces like the mismatched colorful chairs and patchwork tile on the breakfast counter. Inspiration for a mid-sized eclectic light wood floor and gray floor powder room remodel in Los Angeles with a two-piece toilet, white walls and a wall-mount sink

Hidden in this near westside neighborhood of modest midcentury ranches is a multi-acre back yard that feels worlds away from the hustle of the city. These homeowners knew they had a gem, but their cramped and dim interior and lack of outdoor living space kept them from the full enjoyment of it. They said they wanted us to design them a deck and screen porch; we replied, "sure! but don't you want a better connection to that luscious outdoor space from the inside, too?" The whole back of the house was eventually transformed, inside and out. We opened up and united the former kitchen and dining, and took over an extra bedroom for a semi-open tv room that is tucked behind a built-in bar. Light now streams in through windows and doors and skylights that weren't there before. Simple, natural materials tie to the expansive yard and huge trees beyond the deck and also provide a quiet backdrop for the homeowners' colorful boho style and enviable collection of house plants.
