I was considering a hornbeam to block out my neighbor as they can still see over the fence and I needed to have just a little more privacy but be able to shape and prune them like a boxwood so I wanted to know what tree can I get that is similar to a pleached hornbeam for pruning and shaping but is a fast growing tree but with the skinny trunk and won't take up that much space as they will be planted along my driveway. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
