Fall(ing) Leaves

Hi:

I snapped these shots yesterday in the garden. Even though our garden is not that extensive, I think it gives an indication of the variety of colour still available after the flowers have finished for the year.

Very nice!! Got to love that Oakleaf Hydrangea. I bought one last year. It's only 3 feet high, but the colour of those leaves in the fall is WOW!.

Another great burgundy leaf producer in the fall is Aralia Spinosa aka Devil's Walking Stick. Mine are turning now.

You've got one brilliant Hazel there! Very nice indeed.

Fall is one season I don't get much out of, garden-wise. I don't have room for any nice big shrubs or trees, and most of my perennials don't have much fall colour. Oh well, you can't have everything you want!
