Where do you live, where did you buy the tree? Photos of the tree, leaves and fruit whole and fruit cut. Have no idea without seeing what you're seeing :-) You can also check out your tree and fruit by going to the UC Riverside Citrus Variety Collection web site, link below.

I did check that website and could not find it. I have no picture of tree nor fruit.

I came back to where I saw the tree and asked the owner for some fruit and cuttings, hopefully I can make it germinate or root. the fruit looks like a Meyer lemon when ripe and now it tastes closer to an orange but it still has a tart flavor and it's not sweet, It is closer to a bears lime when not fully ripe, but already tastes great. the tree is about 8-10 foot high. I don't thinks it is a commercial variety.
