New plants sometimes will take more time than you think to heal its roots and drink water normally again, so I think that's what's happening with your Anacampseros here too, nothing to worry about. A few more weeks the plant should take watering much better. You can continue your watering schedule (once every 7-10 days for me but since you use gritty mix then you can probably water more.)

Is it in full sun?
If so, moving it into more shade may help.

Thanks everyone. I hope it is just recuperating. It was in some poor conditions when I purchased it & struggled to get the compact soil off of its roots. It is on a shelf on my balcony. It gets indirect sun almost all day and a few hours of direct evening sun. My balcony faces west. I have a north facing window I could put it in but I'm afraid I'll forget about it. I could position it on the shelf to get a little less direct sun. Do you think that would help? Or maybe bring it inside where it could sit on a table in front of the balcony glass doors? I will also water more often as suggested. Maybe 2x a week?

2 times a week might be a bit extreme, try every 5 days and see how they react
