Just found an old tag.....Picea glauca 'Echiniformis'.....Do you agree?

That's the same plant Will was showing the other day. Best guess is that this is Picea mariana 'Nana' or some smaller (unnamed) cultivar unique to this country that's a smaller mutation somewhere between 'Nana' and 'Blue Planet.'

Al, your's is a Picea mariana 'Ericoides' which will grow faster at first, later on it will slow down and will form a tight cushion shape.

For sure it isn't a Picea glauca 'Echiniformis'.
All specimens in the U.S. under this name are in reality Picea mariana 'Nana' specimens.
The 'Nana' is more globose and does have a steel blue needle colour'.

Yes, Now im convinced its Picea mariana 'Ericoides', and the one Will is showing is for sure 'Nana' being much more blue.It will now be labeled correctly. This little guy can take alot of sun and heat in z7 and keep looking happy! Thanks for helping.
