Way too skinny. Head is all wrong. THat is some type of dragon fly.

Yeah, definitely a dragonfly of some type. We have those all over the place around here. They mostly show up in late afternoon as the shadows from the trees grow long. It's kind of cool to sit out back and watch them flit about. They're supposed to be awesome mosquito hunters, though, the ones in my yard tend to come a-calling a few hours before the mosquitoes show up. So I'm not exactly sure what they're snagging as they zip around.
