I receive emails from Hardin's Nursery in Tampa, and their roses are on Fortuniana. The only 'bad' thing is that they are only open on Saturdays.

Kerby's sells only on fort. In Brandon.

Old garden roses don't need special root stock. I am in the beginning of zone 10 and they do fine for me. In fact I haven't sprayed them with anything. They get hard pruned in Feb, the same as I did in NJ. Some minor pruning in Aug and dead headed all year.

Nelson's Roses in Apopka has been growing/ breeding Florida varieties for years. They even have a book on growing Fla roses. Thiers is the only type I grow anymore. The Belinda's Dream variety is bullet proof in my area. No blackspot or fungus spraying needed. Consistent big beautiful pink blooms.
