GARDENING GUIDES8 Deer-Resistant Elegant Evergreen Shrubs to Plant This Fall
Who knew that such beautiful shrubs could be deer-resistant?
Full StoryI planted 3 Leucothoe 'Girard's Rainbown' two springs ago. Last winter, it developed severe leaf spot on the one in the corner and slowly spread to the other two, but not as bad. In the spring, as soon as they were finished blooming, I deverely cut them back and sprayed several times with a copper funcigide. It seemed to do the trick. The rest of the growing season they were beautiful and bounced back great.
I just noticed that the one in the corner has a few spots on the tips of a few leaves again. Is there anything I can do now? Or do I have to wait until the spring?
