cast iron artwork of some sort

This was left in our garage when we moved into our house. I have no idea what it is.
Hard to see in the pic but has flowers and vines/ leaves painted on it. Its cast iron. See the row of tiny pin-type things that stick out along the one edge? Someone suggested it was part of a loom? Its old. And heavy.

I have no idea but would say it looks one of a pair of shelf holders, but no way to fasten it to the wall, maybe a decorative support for an iron bench.

I can't see how that edge would serve any purpose in a loom.

Could it be one of a pair of sink brackets? Turn it the other way, although I'm not sure about the rivets/rivet like thingys in it. mfrog
