Beautiful home, then and now. There are a few movies I can watch over & over and never tire of them: the Godfather is one.
We have a soft spot for John Cazale's Fredo character.

I really do not like how low the ceilings are. Could be bc they used hanging light fixtures which bring it down further. Lovely grounds!

The grounds are very pretty! Love that pool right off the house. But what's up with the tall chain length fence and the basketball goal?

I know...I counted 9 of the crystal drum shade chandeliers, not to mention the many un-shaded crystals.

I wonder why the current owners are selling after only two years?

I found this older article about the house the first time it was for sale (before the current owners bought it). It is a very interesting and funny article. I would love to see photos of the house before the redo. Would also be interesting to see the home movies talked about in this article.

I love that they're showing one of the GF movies on the tv. I think being in that office (photo 6) would creep me out, though. Also, some unfortunate paint color choices.

Fortunately, the unfortunate colors are in the upstairs rooms. I think I could live with the other colors. ;)
