I'm afraid you're right about the lack of magazines for both indoor and outdoor crafts. Better Homes and Gardens puts out seasonal "special editions", but the craft articles are usually minimal except at Christmas. I've found the "Crafter's Choice" book club to be a very good source at very good prices. The purchase obligation is minimal and I've always bought more than required. Also, check your local library. You can always photocopy an atricle or pattern or instructions for something you really love. And, frequent your local Michael's, Hobby Lobby and A.C. Moore arts and crafts stores. sometimes you can find craft books at deeply discounted prices. I just LOVE getting a $20. book for $5.! cora

Try to find library book sales. Don't forget to check out Barnes and Nobles, too. Perhaps you can ask friends this question or even do a "search". I know of two great magazines, but they are mainly for gardening or outdoor projects- "Backyard Living" and "Garden Gate".
