I had seen it on CL before and wrote to the owner but never heard back. She reposted it and I responded again. We spoke on the phone and I got the measurements and asked her to send more photos as the CL photos were so dark I could barely see it. She sent it all over and I asked hubby who said yes!

We went yesterday to pick it up. It was a two hour drive total and it was a beast to move. They had all types of stairs! We used and flat trailer. I feel lucky we got home with it still on the trailer!

I paid her 300 and she said it was imported from Thailand or something. She had tons of antiques in her tiny garden home! It is solid wood and is truly beautiful.

Such a good hutch for your house! Although I too liked that first one - I would have had to paint it to something similar to this new one which I know is stained. The new one is a really good stain color for your space.

She said it was teak. I am not really sure. It is a pretty clear wood. Not many knots I do not think it is teak. Good question. Whatever type of wood it is, it is really heavy.
