They appear to be carpet beetles but the color is off.

Whenever numerous critters are found in the kitchen/pantry, you get to take out all perishable dry foods, check the contents, discard infested goods, and then follow-up by cleaning out the entire storage area.

As posted and answered in another forum, these are dermestid beetles (that include carpet beetles). The poster stated she had none of the typical foodstuffs in the kitchen, but few people defend graham or soda crackers, for examples, by putting them in sealable containers.

Locating the larval casings (pictured on one of the links above) would provide a better clue to what they are eating.
