New Haven Stone Color Cabinets - need help picking wall paint color

We are having a home built and have chosen the New Haven cabinet line from Timberlake in the Color Stone. We would like a gray shade on the walls of the entire home. Should I try to find a color that is just a lighter shade of the Stone color? I know I shouldn't pick a cooler gray that would clash, but not loving the lighter options I've seen that are in the same tone as the Stone. The builder had very few cabinet color choices. Thanks! Not the greatest photos - doing this all remotely from another state...

Thanks Karen Rose - tonight is the last time I can change our cabinets. I've gone back and forth between white and dark gray (boulder) and the stone color I chose. Looking at this pic, makes me want to change back to white cabinets. I know gray is a out-going trend, but I do really like it. But perhaps I'll get my gray fix on just having the entire house painted gray. White cabinets are classic...

The stone color is nice, but you will need a more neutral white for the walls - not a gray. That would also look better with your floors. If you insist on gray walls, go with the white cabinets, but your floors and walls will still clash.

So with those floors, no gray cabinets?

The gray if fine if you love it. However I wouldn't then make the house gray too. It will feel oppressive. Pick an actual color for the walls.

Gray cabinets white walls with your flooring choice. white cabinets , I agree classic. The paint you're looking at are cool grays. Your flooring would be better with a greige. Agreeable Gray, Repose Gray, Useful gray, World gray, Revere Pewter, Balboa Mist.....etc.

I'm biased because I just finished painting my kitchen and hall this color but ... Eider white? It is a little warmer but also so pale you almost think it's white until you see it against white trim and ceiling. It does not read as beige or yellow at all to me.

As to the cabinet color ... it all depends on your budget and if you like any of the woods that are available. I chose a stained wood because I like wood grain and wanted something super durable against dings and dents. Maybe see if they have any wood cabinets that are not overly red or warm, it looks like you really like gray so I'm guessing you like cool colors?
