Perhaps the cog being referred to is the one to open your settings on your iOS device. Here’s a screen grab of my iPad. Notice the settings icon — or cog — at the bottom of the screen to the right of the camera:

Well, now I’m intrigued. What does wifi on the drier do for you?

I finally got it set up. Sheese, could they have made it any more vague/difficult?! Here is a screen shot of what the wifi dryer can do. So far I've only dried one load and it notified me on my phone when it was done. I know now why GE came out with wifi dryers. The end of cycle chime is soooo quiet (on the loudest level) you'd have to be in the laundry room to hear it. Other end of the house?...forget about it. Other than that, I LOVE this dryer!

I once used a laundromat in a college town that had all the washers and dryers connected to a big wall display. From your seat at the adjacent bar and restaurant you could see if any machines were available, and if you had clothes washing or drying you could see if they were finished. It was very relaxing to have a hamburger and a beer while watching the screen to find out if your clothes were finished. They also had a small reading area with a couch and a couple chairs for those who did not want to sit in the restaurant.

I wonder if they have now added wifi or cellular notification to the mix?

Wow, I need to get out more! Never knew such a thing existed. I live close to a college town. I'm going to see if it has something similar (just for the heck of it of course) :)
