Bought my first “body bags”

Im getting antsy and cant seem to resist, even though its still well over a month before i should be planting roses. i was in walmart today and saw these true bloom roses and they jumped into my cart. it looks like true bloom roses are own root. anyone try these? finding mixed hardiness info, though my other roses by ping lim are plenty hardy. I giess ill be putting these in pots that i can move in and out. They are called true darling and true sincerity.

I bought several "body bag" roses from Walmart a couple of months ago, planted more or less immediately, and they're already budding (z8)! I've heard that labels on these are not always accurate so I'm anxious to see if I actually got what I think I did. I sprung for: Medallion, Angel Face, Perfume Delight, and a climbing America. They had a Queen Elizabeth II that looked wonderful but the American in me couldn't quite pull the trigger on that.

Sam, go to YouTube and research both roses. Overdevest Nursery, Bridgeton, NJ, has an Irish fellow that goes into a pretty accurate assessment of the True Bloom Line of roses, on an individual basis.

I have True Inspiration and True Passion. They both did very well their first year, 2023. Looking for further praise for the two. They do have high vigor and want to bloom a lot.

moses, i watched a couple of those and they seem like nice roses. Im excited to try them. one of my bags actually had two nice plants in it. i got them all potted up since theyre already growing and then theyll be ready for the ground once the hard freezes are done.

SY inUSA- sounds like you got some nice ones! i have angel face (new to me last year) and america (I love this one!)
