bathroom wall advice

We are redoing our bathroom and trying to figure out what to put on wall . I had thought about a shelf underneath the window as well . The tub is just sitting there and not set/hooked up. Vanity is navy with champagne gold knobs. Any ideas?

This may not be the type of advice you're looking for, but I offer it in a genuine desire to help. Here goes:

Finish your bathroom. Live with it, use it for a while. That will help you realize what, if anything, you would really like to have in any of the "blank" spaces. You may find you need some hooks in this area, or want a shelf in that area, or that you really wish you had something interesting to look at in that space over there. Or you may discover you're not missing anything at all—that everything you need is at hand and the space feels surprisingly peaceful without any additions at all.

By giving yourself time, you'll be able to choose what you want for function and/or decoration with more confidence in your own ideas. And if you're torn at that point, folks will still be here who can help.

I for sure want a shelf. Can’t decide if I want a shelf under the window or on the wall at head of tub.

Am unsure how deep the space is between the tub and the wall but this might be an excellent space for some built-in or even free-standing shelving for towels, toiletry items, etc.

Artwork on one side, towel hooks on the other. I would live with it for awhile to see what works for you before installing anything more "permanent" such as a shelf.
