Vegan AND cat-friendly sofa material?

We have cats who shed a lot but also want a material that is not genuine leather but will not start disintegrating after a few months. Are there any good faux leathers? Or is there another alternative for materials that are durable but cat hair won't cling to? I would prefer to use a fabric as it is not cold like leather but need something that will stay relatively fur-free.

Crate and Barrel has a great fabric on their Axis sofa. Can't remember the name of it but it comes in different colors that look great. We have cats, dogs and kids. No problems at all. Hope this helps.

Does 'theater' sound familiar? That looks like a woven fabric. The other 2 fabric options are Valencia or Douglas but they both look like a soft microfiber.

Check out the Douglas fabric. Micro fiber that looks and feels great and cleans up easily with a damp cloth.

We also have a lot of washable slip covered furniture from Lee Industries. Gorgeous selection of fabrics and top quality. We have some that are linen and some velvet. Machine wash! You can't beat it! Check out their website. leeindustries.com
