Something to consider. Perhaps place a curtain rod at the very top, corner to corner. Hang a sheer panel, be creative or conservative, gauzy, perhaps beads even, anything that strikes your fancy.... corner to corner, ceiling to floor - or an inch or so off the floor, covering the entire wall and muting the window light, only.
