I hope you'll get lucky and they can remove them. Much of the time what they do is screw the underlayment down to the cabinets, then glue the granite/quartz to the top of the underlayment. So there is no way to get the granite off. When we just installed our new kitchen (new cabinets and counters), we insisted the underlayment be screwed on from inside the cabinets.

You will find a benefit in upgrading an electrical panel, properly labelled. A buyer seeing a home prepared for the future means they will likely never run out of power.

@qofmiwok - You have hit on is my single biggest complaint about houses I have seen on the market. Too often, granite counter tops are installed over cheap 'builder' quality or worse cabinets. Then someone shoves 'high end' appliances into a kitchen with a poor work-flow design, and calls that kitchen 'upscaled,' or remodeled.
