This beautifully renovated St. Louis home blends historic charm with modern elegance, creating a luxurious, welcoming space. This serene bedroom is wrapped in woven grey raffia to vaulted ceilings. The centerpiece is a floor-grazing cream upholstered bed styled with a thoughtful mix of textured gray bolster and Heron-patterned pillows, topped with a cozy, chunky cream throw for a lived-in yet luxurious feel. A large tufted gray ottoman offers function and refinement in front of a charming matching bird patterned armchair that adds a touch of whimsy to the palette. Raw silk window treatment finished with tailored tape trim frame the large bedroom window, softening natural light and echoing the room’s cohesive color story. A plush sheepskin rug adds a final layer of warmth, while built-in cabinetry seamlessly blends storage with architectural detail. This bedroom retreat is subtle elegance, where every finish and furnishing displays thoughtful interior design.

Master Bedroom: This suburban New Jersey couple wanted the architectural features of this expansive bedroom to truly shine, and we couldn't agree more. We painted the walls a rich color to highlight the vaulted ceilings and brick fireplace, and kept draperies simple to show off of the huge windows and lovely country view. We added a batten board treatment on the back wall to enhance the bed as the focal point and create a farmhouse chic feel. We love the chandelier floating above, reflecting light across the room off of each dangling crystal teardrop. Similar to the dining room, we let texture do the heavy lifting to add visual depth as opposed to color or pattern. This cozy lake cottage skillfully incorporates a number of features that would normally be restricted to a larger home design. A glance of the exterior reveals a simple story and a half gable running the length of the home, enveloping the majority of the interior spaces. To the rear, a pair of gables with copper roofing flanks a covered dining area that connects to a screened porch. Inside, a linear foyer reveals a generous staircase with cascading landing. Further back, a centrally placed kitchen is connected to all of the other main level entertaining spaces through expansive cased openings. A private study serves as the perfect buffer between the homes master suite and living room. Despite its small footprint, the master suite manages to incorporate several closets, built-ins, and adjacent master bath complete with a soaker tub flanked by separate enclosures for shower and water closet. Upstairs, a generous double vanity bathroom is shared by a bunkroom, exercise space, and private bedroom. The bunkroom is configured to provide sleeping accommodations for up to 4 people. The rear facing exercise has great views of the rear yard through a set of windows that overlook the copper roof of the screened porch below. Exposed attic joists in the ceiling add height to the room. Refinished hardwood floors, sophisticated lighting and a large scale floral rug connect all the elements, creating a visually interesting, yet tranquil space.

Our St. Pete studio designed this stunning pied-à-terre for a couple looking for a luxurious retreat in the city. Our studio went all out with colors, textures, and materials that evoke five-star luxury and comfort in keeping with their request for a resort-like home with modern amenities. In the vestibule that the elevator opens to, we used a stylish black and beige palm leaf patterned wallpaper that evokes the joys of Gulf Coast living. In the adjoining foyer, we used stylish wainscoting to create depth and personality to the space, continuing the millwork into the dining area. We added bold emerald green velvet chairs in the dining room, giving them a charming appeal. A stunning chandelier creates a sharp focal point, and an artistic fawn sculpture makes for a great conversation starter around the dining table. We ensured that the elegant green tone continued into the stunning kitchen and cozy breakfast nook through the beautiful kitchen island and furnishings. In the powder room, too, we went with a stylish black and white wallpaper and green vanity, which adds elegance and luxe to the space. This client came to me with a vision after moving into their new home- they wanted cozy, warm, and livable. At heart, they still love the classic and traditional design of European styled furniture, but knew they needed an update. The crisp white coverlet, and herringbone linen duvet and Euros are fresh, clean, and elegant. This bright monochromatic custom bedding is the perfect balance to the rich dark mahogany woods and deep taupe paint on the walls. This Master Bedroom is a breath of fresh air; the perfect retreat.
