Referencing the wife and 3 daughters for which the house was named, four distinct but cohesive design criteria were considered for the 2016 renovation of the circa 1890, three story masonry rowhouse: 1. To keep the significant original elements – such as the grand stair and Lincrusta wainscoting. 2. To repurpose original elements such as the former kitchen pocket doors fitted to their new location on the second floor with custom track. 3. To improve original elements - such as the new "sky deck" with its bright green steel frame, a new kitchen and modern baths. 4. Inspiration for a contemporary open concept light wood floor and orange floor family room remodel in San Francisco with white walls

This new home, built for a family of 5 on a hillside in Marlboro, VT features a slab-on-grade with frost walls, a thick double stud wall with integrated service cavity, and truss roof with lots of cellulose. It incorporates an innovative compact heating, cooling, and ventilation unit and had the lowest blower door number this team had ever done. Locally sawn hemlock siding, some handmade tiles (the owners are both ceramicists), and a Vermont-made door give the home local shine.

Designed by Ilaria Marelli for Fiam Italia, Accordo Modern Coffee Table is a an occasional object with a strong visual impact and graphic disposition. Featuring a 12mm thick glass top in a rectangular or oval shape, Accordo Italian Glass Coffee Table can be ordered in four different versions, which include all clear, black base with clear top, all extra-clear, extra clear top with white base and extra clear top with a black & white base. All sizes and versionas of the Accordo Coffee Table are available in two height options.
