The deck is built using low-maintenance Fiberon decking in Rosewood with a vinyl Mount Hope rail in Cape Cod T-Rail. We installed Kichler low-voltage deck lighting for safety and for adding ambiance to the space as well. The deck features a custom-fabricated white vinyl pergola with innovative fixed louvers and interlocking slats which deliver optimum shade.

A family of avid hikers, surfers, and all-around outdoor enthusiasts asked us to create a rooftop family gathering space that better connected their lives to the natural wonders of the Golden Gate.
Built smack dab in the middle of (and above) an existing three-story house, our biggest challenges were (in order of sleepless nights), waterproofing, concealing steel beams and columns, and detailing quality and sustainable materials that will withstand exposure to the rugged coastal elements.
It was a great pleasure to work with clients who appreciate how the built environment can complement the natural. It is our hope that the design celebrates this connection for years to come.

This garden takes advantage of the chimney tops and attics spaces of the urban landscape of the Back Bay- we refer to it as "Mary-Poppinsville". Split in to two areas- seating and dinning/cooking. shrubs, perennials, annuals, and edibles including: herbs, tomatoes, The client is a gourmet chef and uses the foods in his cooking. With limited space, the most popular edible plants that clients ask for are tomatoes and herbs because the herbs can be used in daily cooking and theres nothing to compare to the homegrown tomato. Where space is generous, we also plant blueberries strawberries, raspberries, lettuces, peppers.

Renew Crew of Central SC renewed the exiting deck via clean and seal, and Archadeck of Central SC designed and built the beautiful pergola and landing addition so the homeowners could get more function from their poolside deck.

This multi-level composite deck includes a curved bench from the same material — a very durable substance that won’t fade, chip, or splinter. Note: building it at ground level eliminated the need for a railing which saved some expense.

What a transformation with this cute, bungalow in Glen Ellyn! We removed the old aluminum siding and re-sided with a custom color (matching original siding color that was unearthed) LP. Mitered cedar frames each window with a brown stain. For an eclectic twist, we installed multiple colored cedar tongue and groove on the three sides that face the street, which overtime will start to fade and blend more together. New custom yellow garage doors and expansive deck off the back.

Step up to the deck’s second level and you’ll find more beautiful features in wood. On one side, wood railings provide safety, and vertical wood skirting hides the under-deck area. On the other side, custom wood planters match the deck’s skirting, and built-in (wood) bench seating provides a delightful conversation nook.
