Fort Lee NJ

Contemporary Bedroom, New York

In the Master Bedroom the client wanted to keep a sense of warmth and wanted us to work with the existing wall to wall carpet. From that point we picked up a neutral pallet but added some contemporary flair with the high gloss white and tiger wood bedroom furniture shipped from Italy. The headboard was custom designed with chrome, mahogany and cream colored leather to coordinate with the furniture. We continued the tiger wood look from the furniture by applying a rich wood trim to the walls bordering the barkskin wall treatment as well as the crown molding. A custom wood cornice was created for the window treatment using the barkskin and wood trim. Accents of copper were incorporated into the room through the pillows, lighting, and side chair to coordinate with the adjacent Master Bath. Although this is a Master Bedroom in a Fort Lee Condo, we can just as easily see this space in a New York hotel! Photography: Wing Wong MemoriesTTL, LLC
