This master bathroom is the perfect retreat. The dual shower heads and body sprays provide the couple with their own shower experience perfectly planned for their vastly different heights.

We choose to highlight this project because even though it is a more traditional design style its light neutral color palette represents the beach lifestyle of the south bay. Our relationship with this family started when they attended one of our complimentary educational seminars to learn more about the design / build approach to remodeling. They had been working with an architect and were having trouble getting their vision to translate to the plans. They were looking to add on to their south Redondo home in a manner that would allow for seamless transition between their indoor and outdoor space. Design / Build ended up to be the perfect solution to their remodeling need. As the project started coming together and our clients were able to visualize their dream, they trusted us to add the adjacent bathroom remodel as a finishing touch. In keeping with our light and warm palette we selected ocean blue travertine for the floor and installed a complimentary tile wainscot. The tile wainscot is comprised of hand-made ceramic crackle tile accented with Lunada Bay Selenium Silk blend glass mosaic tile. However the piéce de résistance is the frameless shower enclosure with a wave cut top.

The master bathroom is large with plenty of built-in storage space and double vanity. The countertops carry on from the kitchen. A large freestanding tub sits adjacent to the window next to the large stand-up shower. The floor is a dark great chevron tile pattern that grounds the lighter design finishes.

Sleek and bold: the hexagonal tile design throughout this bathroom makes a statement that is immediately seen upon entry.

The hall bath of the Thornton Double Bath Remodel got a fresh look by removing and replacing everything without changing the layout. The previous vanity was a 48" double vanity and allowed no couther space. It was replaced with the 48" single bowl Quen Vanity from Signature Hardware in white with a Carrara marble top. The single bowl offers a lot of counter space and the 9 drawers and double door cabinet offers an abundance of storage space below. The decorative base makes the vanity feel like a piece of furniture. The old medicine cabinet was replaced with a Kohler double mirrored frameless option topped off with a contemporary George Kovacs bar light

When my clients bought the house, the original guest bathroom was orange with fruit stencils and commercial rubber baseboards. The final bathroom celebrated my client's Asian ancestry and provided a modern space for their guests. A variety of textures allude to organic elements and anchor the small space.

The new space feels light, airy and open exuding a tranquil sophistication. A relaxed, meditative atmosphere is achieved by combining glass tile, white walls, dark cabinets and a porcelain countertop.

A large spa-like steam shower is the perfect place to relax at the end of a long day. Neutral soft gray floor and wall tile step back to allow the funky glass subway accent wall to shine. New blended family wanted to redesign and remodel existing house to become home entire family could live and enjoy. Master bath was created by adding an additional 20' x 8' feet. The existing master bath had a "his" sink with "hers" around the corner, pink tub and small shower. New Master bath has two Merillat Portrait Mist vanities topped with green and white Lumen marble. Large backlit mirrors were added over each vanity with additional lighting above the mirror. The wall has iridescent accent tile that glows in the light and really adds warmth and glow to room.
