The expanded foyer directs the eye towards the view and introduces a deep teal that is echoed in the soothing aqua bedroom.

The formerly windowless elevator vestibule is now filled with light borrowed from the living room. We employed glass block because of its unique qualities- combining solidity with transparency.
Gail Green Interiors
Entering the foyer directly from the elevator, one sees a glass block wall, bathing the space in pale green light. Bringing light in from the foyer, the living room is similarly enhanced by light from this area.

High above Columbus Avenue, with open views to the West, South, and East, we combined 2 units while the building was still under construction. Special attention to home entertainment was the key for this client in publishing. The kitchen became the focal point, open to the views and living space while retaining a discreet separation. An open and flowing layout with a billiard room, master suite and children's rooms made this spectacular aerie a warm and comfortable home.

This L configuration allows the living space to be divided naturally into three more intimate areas. The music area located to the right of the foyer contains a grand piano whose curves flow and lead one into the seating area of the living room.

The entryway is the first space your guests will see when entering your home. It sets the look and feel for your entire house, and we all know how important first impressions are. Create a strong, welcoming space for the house to absorb its fengshui energy nourishment.
