Dark Delight New Zealand Flax frame what will soon be a majestic Pincushion flower (Leucospermum) transplanted from the back garden (seen through the breezeway). Purple flowers and foliage echo each other and lots of open space was preserved to avoid clutter.

This Belgard Holland Brick Paver Border, in Slate, borders the front walkway and the driveway. The Night Lighting ads interest and the rainbow rock and metal edging complete the look with practical concepts like drainage and long lasting tidy borders. Tip- avoid over planting your beds. Remember those plants are going to get bigger each year. If you over plant now, you'll just have to do more maintenance and end up starting over in just a few years.

Nestled in the tropical setting in the front yard is an oasis of sorts. Nothing like sitting in the tropical jungle in your own yard watching the passerby stroll only ten feet away from you.

The focal feature of the existing landscape was this cute PNW style shed. The surrounding landscape did nothing to enhance it, so we updated it with a flagstone pathway to a new cedar deck and surrounded it with new plantings.

Dark Delight New Zealand Flax were left in place from the previous garden, underplanted with Pork and Beans Sedum ground cover, which will develop blushes of red and brown in the summer. A few California poppy seeds blew in during the installation. They're welcome for now, but could overtake other plants in time.

This is truly a native central Oregon landscape. The home owner did not want to water any more that absolutely necessary. Here you can see a mix of colorful perennials that will bloom all summer.

This is the fourth Trilogy home we renovated. The two maples and the weeping spruce were original, everything else is new. We went for lots of color, but little maintenance
