Babies want to sleep when it is very dark in the room and these black out shades in neutral color provide just that. The inside mount installation to these uPVC tilt and turn window allow for a gap as little as 1/16 on the side to minimize light leakage when closed.

Convert a small space to a polished eye-catching and functional home office. We used white painted maple wood veneers and solid wood painted doors, moldings and trims to give the space a formal style. This home office boasts under cabinet LED lighting, doors with glass inserts, upper cabinets surrounded by wrap around shelving for books and accent pieces and sturdy maple wood drawers for storing office supplies or filing important documents.

The purpose of this space is to awaken a sense of wonder and discovery in my child from day one. World landmarks and brightly colored bird and butterfly friendly plants were chosen to encourage curiosity about our world.

To eliminate an inconsistent layout, we removed the wall dividing the dining room from the living room and added a polished brass and ebonized wood handrail to create a sweeping view into the living room. To highlight the family’s passion for reading, we created a beautiful library with custom shelves flanking a niche wallpapered with Flavor Paper’s bold Glow print with color-coded book spines to add pops of color. Tom Dixon pendant lights, acrylic chairs, and a geometric hide rug complete the look.

For this project we focused on the statement pieces. The gallery wall and the armoire. The Louis XVI armoire and the mixture of art mediums we chose created an incredibly balance of focal points within the space. We played with proportion by accenting the windows with a soft, functional set of taupe drapes with white linen sheers. We also added a large mercury glass chandelier with wrought iron features bridging the gap between the contemporary and heirloom pieces. We added ecclectic accessories and art. The scheme we chose was layered neutral tones to compliment the warm tones of the furniture.
