The interior design process started out great. She had great ideas and inspirations for the home. As we moved further into the process it turned into more of a hidden shell game and flat out lies. She would send us PDFs that furniture and pieces had been ordered, only to find out that the PDF had been manipulated by her and edited with new dates and new prices with areas that she tried to block out with white boxes that we couldn't see. I respect honesty...and this isn't what you'll get with Katie

We've worked with Katy on numerous projects for our family over the last 6 years. She has helped us stage our house for resell, decorate and select furniture for our new home, and helped lead the process for a major bathroom remodel. In every instance, we were thrilled with the results and relieved that we had someone of Katy's talent and expertise helping us through the process. She has an amazing design aesthetic and is wonderful to work with. She patiently works with us to understand what our budget and goals are and provides amazing options for consideration. This past year we had the pleasure of building a new home in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. Our builder recommended Katy as a designer to help us make this house our home. There we many challenges because Katy had never met us before, the project was mostly completed while we were in an entirely different state and the pandemic made frequent travel basically impossible for us to review choices for interior materials onsite. Katy was able to guide us in the right direction and her incredible dashboard software allowed us to review and refer to choices we had made and choices we needed to make from our digital devices wherever we were at any given time. She helped us determine the look for every surface in the home including all flooring, tile, countertops, cabinets, cabinet pulls, faucets, sinks, the list seemed endless, but with Katy’s help the process went smoothly and even last minute changes were easy as the pandemic caused some supply problems. Our house is definitely even better than the home we originally imagined and Katy helped make that possible. If you need design services, Katy is your go to person!

Everyone wants to have a beautiful remodeled home to enjoy. A true test of a designer is to see if the design functions well. We got both with Grawski Studios. Katy listened and designed to not only our style but to our function needs. There were many little things that were important to our family in a redesigned home and Katy made sure to put all of those needs into the final product. From a well planned pantry and custom cabinets for the kitchen to barn doors that keep the pets contained and the right flooring for our busy home. All of the details made the remodel our perfect home, thank you Katy and Khadija for your inspiration and design.

Katy was a Great Interior Designer for our Stunning Total House remodel, she has an excellent sense of style and space. The remodel was 3,300 sf, she guided my husband and myself in the replacement of all our furnishings, flooring, lighting and window treatments, two of the chandeliers she selected catch people’s breath when they walk in the front door. Katy uses an excellent computer program that presents the selected furnishings in each room, this was extremely helpful in coordinating an entire room and the flow from one room to another. She did a fabulous job of picking the accessories for each room and tying the entire space together. Katy listened to out inputs and adjusted as needed after each discussion, I never felt that we didn’t have a choice in each and every decision. In summary, Katy is easy to work with, has a great eye for the desired décor and a good listener. I highly recommend Kathy and would definitely hire her again.

Katy was absolutely fantastic to work with! Except for the actual time of the set up I lived out of town and she was very responsive at calling me and sending me pictures by email. She was present during delivery and set up all of the furniture. She listened to my requests and opinions and always provided multiple options. I would love the opportunity of working with her again.

Katy is wonderful and easy to work with - kind, talented and a great collaborator. She understood what I was going for with style and decor in addition to creating floor plans, and 2D and 3D renderings. She helped me organize requirements and interview contractors. Pending start date (based on my schedule), but couldn't have shaped it up without her. I highly recommend her.

Katy has exceeded my expectations in an interior designer. She has created a space that my family and I love. First and foremost Katy is professional, reliable and organized. She is creative and solution-oriented and stayed close to my budget. What I love most about her is how she is genuinely kind and listened intently to my needs in designing my kitchen nook and family room. She has created a space that I wanted, in the end, to be timeless, family friendly (and as kid proof as possible as kids are not even kid-proof!) and a reflection of my family's personality. I enjoyed that the project was collaborative but expertly maneuvered in a beautiful design direction by her and to not compromise budget and material. She doesn't copy Pinterest pictures you like, she creates a space that YOU want and that reflects you. I love the transformation of the space but feel very proud of it because I think it shows her talent as a designer, her versatility as well as her boldness.

We worked closely with Katy on the furnishing of our new place in Mission Beach. We wanted a livable, modern fresh look with new and found furniture. Katy was great to work with and helped us implement our vision with her timely input and selection of perfect infill furniture and accessories. She has a great design sense for balance, color and design and was great to work with!

My family has worked with Katie for the last 3 years. She is responsive, kind and patient. She is aware of the many emotional factors that can play in to design as well as the need to keep the spaces' integrity alive and well. She makes room for your thoughts and opinions and ideas instead of just imposing her own viewpoints. I have found this to be a unique quality that Katie possesses that makes working with her easy and comfortable. She obviously has a great design style on top of it all. Katy helped me do a complete remodel of a home in Del Mar. She was phenomenal at listening to my objectives and providing ideas and solutions in a very cost efficient manner. I like service providers like Katy who put their clients first and don't try to push their vision onto you. She worked seamlessly with my contractor and enabled me to spend less time overseeing the project. Everything was done on time and within budget. I have no hesitation recommending Katy to anyone.

Katy has quite simply changed my life for the better. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to come in and assess exactly what was need to turn my home into a comfortable, useable and stored space that I love coming home to. She really listened to what I was looking for and in a short amount of time created a custom design that we fell in love with.
