“Lisa Little worked wonders in our smallish Venice space. We had complicated needs and she found elegant solutions within a tight budget. We redid a kitchen from the walls out, extended it a bit, added a bar, added in a huge walk-in closet and staircase in the master bedroom, and reconfigured a guest loft. The latter involved enclosing a half-wall for privacy via rotating shutters that Lisa dreamed up and designed. The shutters rotate open when the loft is not in use and closed when we have company up there. This was a brilliant idea, brilliantly executed at not much cost. Lisa helped with fixture choice, color choice, and furniture choice, and worked closely with the general contractor and his subs. She exhibited great taste, a firm hand, and a keen eye on the budget. Recommended without reservation.”

“I love Meredith and Mariam at MAAM. My husband and I hired them to design our home, he then hired them again for his office and we hired them a third time for a pool design. No reason to mess with a good thing! Impeccable tastes. Incredibly smart. Super trustworthy. They are the best!”

“As a real estate broker, property manager and investment property owner for over 15 years I have worked with may designers, contractors and sub contractors (Good and bad) Mark at GCC Designs is at the top of my list of professionals I can trust to do the job right the first time. He shows up on time, articulates the scope of the job in a way that is easily understood and executes on time. The value he provides is right in line with the cost of the job. He is currently working on a major job in my personal home that is moving along just as planned.”

“We worked with asap on one of our multifamily apartment projects. We were very pleased with their professionalism, quality of work, and dedication. Having worked with several other architects, I would say that they are by far the most creative ambitious and competent.”
Jeannette Architects
Attic Conversion Contractors in Bel Air
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 20, 2012
“My wife and I hired Jeannette Architects to assist us with a major remodel (interior/exterior) of our 3,500 sq. ft. ranch style home in Newport Beach. The task: incorporate warm contemporary design into our 1970's "woody cabin." As a real estate developer and because it's our third major house remodel there were many design elements we knew we wanted but many more that we needed help with. As capable as Jeff (Jeannette) is with his design sense, we believe that it's his ability to listen to his clients, understand client goals, how we will live in the space and how that fits into our budget is what sets Jeff apart from other architects. The Jeannette team met aggressive time constraints, produced a thorough set of construction documents, were always quick to provide clarification and answers to our questions and were great resources for product and material options and information. True professionals that we would use again and confidently refer to others. Our project is nearing completion and I can't wait to share photos.”

“We started with a nice house in the Hollywood Hills then GLYNN made it shine; GLYNNdesign was stellar! Their taste, advice, and counsel are second-to-none. If you want a job done well, not some Home Depot-like spit and shine, consult then hire this talented team! There were several issues with my job, but they worked their way around the problems to magically create a masterpiece. Excellent work. I am thrilled with the house, the quality of the job, and the compliments I get. They morphed my average house into the best home in the block! Thanks!”

“ReVe Partners/Lida Mahabadi redesigned a lounge within the parameters of an existing industrial retail space. Successfully transforming the space within program requirements while creating the desired upscale, inviting, and chic atmosphere sought. The lounge design incorporated use of particular materials and fixtures that creatively blended the industrial vibe with modern. It was an absolute pleasure working with said firm and would collaborate on future projects.”

“I commissioned Magdalena to design a piece of exhibition furniture that would serve as a display case would include areas where visitors could sit. The exhibition focused on Frank Lloyd Wright and the Japanese print. Wright, an avid collector of Japanese prints had curated several exhibitions in the early twentieth century at the Chicago Art Institute which included benches and pedestals that he had designed specifically for the shows. So, I was looking for an important element for our exhibition -- a work of art itself -- that would capture some of Wright's design aesthetic. I was thrilled with Magdalena's design. I also appreciated all the time she gave to convey her ideas to the cabinet builder who realized her ideas. I sought Magdalena's advice on another exhibition element in 2012. She gave crucial input regarding the design, structure, and placement of a viewing platform which allowed visitors to get a new perspective on a large-scale floor installation. Again, Magdalena's courtesy, creativity, and insights were incredibly appreciated. She has an amazing sensitivity to each project and gets to the core of it sometimes before I can even express it in words.”
