“Lauren Shadid designed the remodel of my home to expand the kitchen and open up the family room, and make use of our space more efficiently. She was very thorough and diligent in her work and was very conscious in keeping within our budget. She works very well with contractors and is always available when she is needed. She was always very response to my questions and concerns. Her background in interior design is a huge bonus as she was very helpful in helping me choose colors and tile. Lauren also helped design my backyard space. We live on sloped lot and she was able to design a pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, and lounge area, whereras before we had a basketball court above the main patio area that was never used. We don't have a finished yard yet, but I can see the transformation and how much more we will enjoy our new space.”

“My wife and I decided to undertake the daunting task of designing and building a beach house in Baja, Mexico. We hired Robbie Dickson with Equinox Architecture because of his strong experience designing second homes for families. Even though most of his prior work was from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado using wood (very different from the coastal deserts of Baja), we felt comfortable that he would design a fabulous getaway for us. We were not disappointed. Take a look at the photos and you can see for yourself. It was a great experience all around. The builders who didn't speak english commented that they were the best architectural plans they had ever built from, the easiest to follow and with all the appropriate details called out to make building go smoothly and efficiently, even in a foreign country. “Rand is a great designer! He put together plans for a remodel and ~1000 sq foot addition for our home. He was very detail oriented and thoughtful in his design. Rand worked hard to keep us within our budget and allow for a design which we love and which will make our home beautiful and cohesive despite the addition! He was easy to work with and held our hands (we were first timers) through a number of obstacles along the way. I would recommend him to anyone who really cares about the integrity of their design.”
