“We worked with Tim Kerner on our full house renovation in downtown Philadelphia in 2009. He is very meticulous, thorough and thoughtful in his approach. He does not rush through decisions or projects. He communicated well with our general contractor. Also, when it came time to make decisions about lighting fixtures and other hardware around the house, he sent me some links online of ideas to choose from, to make the process less overwhelming. I found this extremely helpful. Tim is patient and easy to work with and I would hire him again for another project, or recommend him to anyone. I cannot speak to his rates because we did not get other estimates (as he also worked on a family member's project, so we knew we wanted to work with him). We are thrilled the way our house turned out.”

“Jeff Spoelker was excellent through the whole process. My wife and I loved the work that he had done when he was with Lyman Perry Assoc. We wanted the Nantucket look even though we were only building on an 18 acre lake. One of his strengths beyond design was bringing ideas to us on types of light fixtures, flooring choices, and even landscape options that would work. For example, as we moved through the planning process, Jeff recommended that we put in a fire pit down by the lake. We would have never thought of it. We have had so much fun using it with friends, family and neighbors. The bottom line for us was we really didn't know what we wanted when we started thinking about building our "dream home". Hiring a good architect is a must. Jeff is one of them!”

“We engaged Princeton Design Collaborative to provide design concepts for a small master bathroom addition. The current bathroom configuration was virtually unusable. The two concepts provided were cost effective for the client, and provided an aesthetically appealing design to the front of the home that matched the existing facade. The drawings were extremely complete and detailed as to make the permitting process with the township go smoothly. We look forward to working with John Conroy on future projects, and would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in architectural design concepts and drawings.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Rasmussen/Su on a kitchen renovation. Our home was built in 1879, and it had a cramped and dark kitchen. Kevin & Vivian really listened to what mattered to us (having a space that works for an active family and opens the kitchen up to the rest of the first floor) and they were able to incorporate those things into the design. They have experience with historic homes and local regulations and took care of the arduous permit process. They were there during construction when we ran into the unexpected things you discover in an old house. They also helped with the design details and decisions you have to make during a project. We now have an amazing space where everyone gathers to cook, do homework, and just be together.”

“Wyant Architecture created beautiful and enriching living spaces for our family. We have worked with Jeff and Maria on many projects in our Philadelphia townhouse (circa 1876) ranging from straightforward renovations of existing bathrooms, to a kitchen renovation which involved moving walls and opening up sight lines, to a very complex addition. Jeff and Maria have an outstanding design sense retaining older features and incorporating contemporary elements in our home. In addition to everything else, Maria is particularly savvy about kitchen design and functionality. Their aesthetic guidance on the selection of materials – wood, tile, glass, metals, paint colors – is invaluable. They are visionary and able to problem solve creatively. They are able to propose creative design solutions that are well within budget. Jeff and Maria have excellent technical skills. Their attention to detail upfront makes the pricing and construction phases go as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Working with Jeff and Maria is a wonderful experience. They listen attentively and respond promptly and creatively. They collaborate well with everyone – client, contractors, structural engineers, City Hall – and when necessary are strong advocates for their clients. We almost hate to be done with our architectural projects as we miss our regular interaction with them!”
