“We hired Sam to help us renovate a very lovely but rundown Victorian home just by the Brighton sea front. It was in desperate need of repairs and was also our first home. Sam and his team are very accommodating to our wants and needs for the home which will double as both a family home and workspace as well 2 holiday lets. “Brian Hoolahan acted as our principal architect as we embarked on our project to replace our harbour fronted home in Chichester. The location of the property was particularly sensitive as it is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our brief was for Brian’s practice to design a family home using traditional materials whilst at the same time satisfying some of the highest environmental standards with respect to energy efficiency and material sourcing - including ground source heating and significant reliance of a sustainably sourced oak structure as an alternative to steel. Further, as a resident of Bosham we very much required that our new home was to be sympathetic towards the local environment, being close to Bosham village and its grade 1 listed Anglican church. Brian led all aspects of the design and planning approval process - which included satisfying the requirements of the District and Parish counsils as well as other authorities, including Chichester Harbour Conservancy. Following planning approval, Brian, through his construction company, Harbour Contractors, project managed the build covering all aspects of compliance and certification addressing architectural matters as they arose. We were delighted in choosing Brian’s organisation for our project and were able to benefit from his many years of professional experience as well as his deep architectural knowledge, having developed many projects throughout West Sussex.”

“Each design that Three|Eleven work on is unique and never formulaic, Rob Beer works creatively to exceed both a clients needs and their vision. We have worked with Rob on a challenging new build in Rottingdean where planning permission was tough to gain and came with incredibly tight restrictions. With constraints on size, this project demanded a creative design to maximise both space and light, whilst also meeting the clients dream of a traditional Arts & Crafts style house. We are currently working with Rob to build a stunning extension on a Victorian house which is also progressing well. It's a pleasure to work with Rob, we receive the detailed plans we need and communication is open and supportive - we really couldn't recommend Three|Eleven more highly.”

“I engaged Chris to draw up plans for a house extension and garage conversion into an office and shed. I was extremely impressed with Chris's attitude and professionalism throughout the whole process. He kept me informed of his work, advised me where necessary and came to see me at regular intervals to review the design and ensure I understood all aspects of the work clearly. Chris's knowledge through the planning process was invaluable and helped get this approved effortlessly. His detailed and thorough plans and drawings meant that the builders (a number of whom Chris recommended) could price up this work in an accurate manner and provide detailed timelines for the project. Which as a project manager myself was great to see! There is absolutely no doubt I would use Chris again for any other projects and have happily recommended him to friends and family.”

“Designed a Garden Room extension to the back of a 1960s house in a 20th Century Conservation Area to create an 'integrated living' feel to the ground floor including taking the kitchen into this space. The Architects worked collaboratively with us, taking the design through the Planning process, producing detailed tender documents to enable us to select an appropriate builder. Remaining in the background but available to support us during the construction period.”
